Initiating the journey

Our first meeting, what a thrill! After months of waiting, we finally met, albeit virtually, and began the journey to co-create something together.

This first meeting served to share desires, views, complicities, and also to try to organise something we had never done before: to transform the results of a participatory research into a series of graphic stories. Paula and Violeta shared the story of their process, Josune ventured into the role of ‘translator’ between different languages, Paula Novo helped us to take care of the administrative details, Marcela, María and Julia helped us to reflect on the research and its results at this crucial moment of closure.  

In order to build a common theoretical framework, we set up several meetings to reflect together on some concepts that we considered relevant to the creation process: intersectionality, ambiguities, non-humans and translation.  We will share the main reflections that accompany us on this journey.
