Presenting our research in Murcia

On May 5, 2023, the great moment came to meet in person in Murcia and share the results of our research. It was a beautiful afternoon with the exhibition hall of the Puertas de Castilla Cultural Center full of very varied people who generously came to listen to us and share.

We invited them to take some time to see the exhibition, read the stories and then fill out a small piece of paper where we asked them what they thought, what feelings they evoked in them and what stories were missing. Then we shared the main results of the participatory research process and the co-creation of the stories and opened a dialogue space the attendees. We closed on a high note with local snacks by La Gracia while continuing the chat between the aisles.

Shared Dialogues is a transdisciplinary project that arises from the collaboration between artists and scientists that is built from a two-year participatory research in the Mar Menor and the Campo de Cartagena. On May 5, 2023, a meeting was held to present results and shared dialogue at the Puertas de Castilla cultural center in Murcia.

A conversation to share the reflections that have emerged around the project “Collective Construction of Knowledge around the Mar Menor and the Campo de Cartagena”, as well as a series of short visual stories of the Mar Menor that we have been cooking for a few months as part of the project “Shared Dialogues” with the illustrator Josune Urrutia.
